Amelia is a recent First Class Graduate of Textile Design specialising in Printed textiles and Surface Design. Throughout her years in education she has experimented with a wide range of different techniques and styles to work out where it is that she fits within the design industry. It wasn’t until the Final Major Project at University where Amelia truly found her love of experimenting with materials and creating repeat patterns. Enjoying a wide range of design specialisms means always trying to incorporate her passion for other crafts within new design work. It is quite rare that a design has only one process involved in creating it; this could mean it started as a drawing, edited on photoshop, screen printed onto textures and then creating an industry ready repeat pattern from there and digitally printing that onto a surface. Amelia has worked on a range of different briefs including fashion, interiors and stationary and I am always open to ideas.
